New District Lead Volunteer for Horsham District
I am happy to announce that Oliver Smith has been appointed the new District Lead Volunteer for Horsham. We hope that everyone in Horsham will support Oliver as he takes on his new challenge in the District and I would like to say thankyou to Jo and Dave who have worked tirelessly supporting the District over the last few years.
Oliver will start his role on Friday 20th June at the Horsham District AGM

I’ve been having fun with a cub pack at 2nd Horsham for 13 years and have had the privilege of being the GLV for 2nd Horsham for the last 6 years. In my spare time I run district events and am still trying to get 200 cubs at district cub camp, 10 years of trying and still not there!
I managed to go to the 24th World Scout Jamboree in the USA as IST, my previous international scouting being when I was briefly a cub scout in Canada and helping run a scout evening in Johannesburg. I’m looking forward to the challenge of leading the district and meeting more of the amazing people in scouting
