Skills for Life

Welcome to West Sussex Scout County

Every day of every week you can find us playing our part, broadening our horizons and getting stuck into the great outdoors. We have more than 5,000 adult volunteers and young people between 6 and 25 years of age enjoying fun and adventure while learning the skills they need for whatever life throws at them.

Every week we encourage them to do more and learn more Skills For Life!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
