Join the Adventure

A few months ago West Sussex Scouts asked a local magazine production company (Roger Booth Studio Ltd, Hassocks, West Sussex) to put together a magazine that would be 'outward facing' to try to get more adult volunteers to help out in West Sussex.

The first issue of the magazine has gone out and has come to the attention of national HQ.

"As you know, nationally, there are 30,000 young people wanting to join with no Scout groups to accommodate them.

The first issue, called 'Join the Adventure' is out now, and the next one is due in September, with 19,000 copies planned! It is funded by advertising and we believe that many businesses will benefit from being promoted among the family oriented readership of Join The Adventure, and advertising opportunities are being offered now for our September magazine."
