Beaver Scouts invade Blacklands Farm Camp Site
10 September 2011
On the 10th September Beaver Scouts from the East Grinstead
District Scouts area which included; Forest Row, West Hoathly,
Crawley Down, Ardingly and Copthorne came together to celebrate 25
years of Beaver Scouting. They were joined by a few of the original
Beaver Leaders going back 25 years, the Town Mayer and Mayeress and
other guests from West Sussex County Scouts.

The Beaver Scouts took part in planting their own wood...25
trees together with a plaque to commemorate the occasion which for
years to come will give Beaver Scouts the pleasure of brass
rubbing.
After the tree planting ceremony a tea party was held in a
marque where everyone eat cakes that had been specially made and
decorated with the 25 year Commemorative Badge.
