Scouts

Scouts is the oldest section of Scouting within the group for 10½ - 14½ . The section is run by the Scout Leader Roger with temporary assistance from the Beaver Scout Leader.

Meetings         

Every Monday during school term time. 7.00 pm till 8.30 pm at the Funtington & District Village Hall. During the summer more outside activities are enjoyed which may be at other locations. 

Membership

There are 8 members, all boys at present. Subscriptions are paid at the start of each term to cover the cost of the annual Census fee, hire of the hall and normal running costs. Extra activities are occasionally undertaken for which additional costs may be incurred. 

Activities

These include Shooting, Indoor rock climbing, Hiking, Pioneering, learning 1st Aid, Camping, and hut based challenges.
