Cub Scouts

Cub Scouts is the middle section of Scouting for 8 - 10½. The section is run by the Cub Scout Leader Caroline and two Assistant Cub Scout Leaders.

Meetings

Every Thursday during school term time 5.30 pm till 7.00 pm at the Funtington & District Village Hall. During the summer almost all meetings are held outside at different locations.

Membership

We have a thriving and energetic Pack that enjoys gaining badges and achieving Challenges. At present we have Cubs from nine different Primary Schools and nine different local villages giving everyone the chance to make new friends outside school. Our aim is to have a Pack of 30 members, although at the moment this has crept up to 35 and we have a short waiting list.

Activities

Our termly programme always includes either a day out, a sleepover or a camp, the opportunity to take part in one or more District events as well as the chance to gain another badge through a half day or day special event.
