As you can see the Camp Badge and the Grail Trail Badge have been designed from the original competition winners.
Alexander Wilbourn, 2nd Ifield and Canice Gonzague 1st Shipley for the grail trail.
The camp badge has been given the OK and can be worn on your uniform from the first day of camp until the end of the year.(to go over left breast pocket). For those of you who have had time to read their Scouting magazine you will have seen the Knights helmet.
This could be handy when sorting costumes, please find attached some more ideas.
After a very successful WS 08 the interest in Campalot has been very encouraging with new packs applying for places, and new people wishing to come on board to run a activity.

Over 1000 Cub Scouts have signed up to be part of this Medieval Extravaganza, with 300 Leaders hoping that they too will get a look in on all the fun, with the chance of dressing up as Knights, Peasants, Serfs and Damsels in distress.
If you haven’t already guessed, the theme will be Knights Of The Round Table with each sub camp named after one of the knights. A new experience for this camp is Saturday evening. We will be keeping the fireworks as we know how much you enjoy them, but you will be able to watch them from your own sub camp and not at a mass gathering where cubs can go missing in the dark!
The main event of the evening will be a demonstration of different types of Medieval combat, long bows to broad swords. The camp team is already working hard to make sure that all who come have the best fun possible, new skills to achieve, new friends to make and great fun to be had all weekend.
