Centenary Circumnavigation
As part of the celebrations for 100 years of Sea Scouting in 2009, the Discovery Sailing Project intend to circumnavigate the British mainland during the summer months, using our 60ft. vessel “Thermopylae Clipper”. This will be in lieu of our traditional participation in the Tall Ships Race. Places on the voyage will be available on a weekly basis, firstly for group bookings. A maximum of 11 berths are available for groups, but must include at least one Leader. The minimum age is 13 years. Cost will be £275 per person per week inclusive of food. Waterproofs will be provided on board. Travel to and from the port of embarkation or disembarkation is to be separately ranged and paid for by the groups....
